| Holt House |
| Located 1 mile north of Granite Falls, MN on County Rd 5, Holt House was built in 1884 by William H. Holt. It is one of the rare examples of Orson Fowler's octagon house fad. Though some changes have been made, many of house's original features remain - woodwork, marble fireplace, and the remains of a dumb waiter in the basement. Click on these links and learn more about the residents and history of this house on the History, Genealogy, and Holt Family and their connection to Caterpillar, INC. Visit Grove Gallery in the granary for gnomes, antiques and Caterpillar collectibles. JUNQUE in the metal shed has a bit of everything. We're open for the summer until Sept 15.
