Weaver
House
This picture was taken Nov 13, 2007 while we were in the process of obtaining it.  The house is the last one still
standing on the flood plain of Minnesota Ave.  This area is now a nice green space and park.

This was taken Nov 17, 2008, the Weaver House looks like its always been here at it's new
location of 863 Lincoln St., Granite Falls, MN. Removing the unattractive later additions add to the
houses's charm.  Click on the links at the top of this page to see the move and restoration progress
pictures.
Special thanks to Thein Moving who were so helpful when we were out of town and did a great job
moving the house.  Also, thanks to Citizen's State Bank, Baker Bros. Construction, Dewey Toutges
masonry, Lonnie Anderson Construction , The Sawmill for some great advice and materials, and
Troy's Electric.
This is  a picture of the Weaver House at it's original location on Minnesota Avenue.  The back addition was not moved
with the house.  Some of it may have been original, but the movers were unable to move it because of no basement.
