| The Granite Falls Riverfront Revitalization Corporation is launching its drive for members and funds to preserve the K. K. Berge Building in downtown Granite Falls. The building will serve as a "front porch" for Granite Falls with the Chamber of Commerce office located there and more area for public use. The ground floor and riverfront will be used by CURE for kayaking, canoeing, bicycling and other river related events. Click here for the history of the K.K. Berge Building Donations are urgently needed to save the building before the end of June, 2010. We have raised over $170,000 in flood mitigation funds and donations. Any donation over $500 will be recognized inside the building. We are currently accepting pledges!
