The Granite Falls Historical Society is working to
preserve the footbridge located downtown
across the Minnesota River.  We are working to
get it listed on the national historic register and
raising funds for it's repair and preservation.

The bridge was designed by Roebling and Sons
Company who also designed and built the
Golden Gate Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge.  It
was built in the spring of 1935, replacing the
previous wooden bridge.
